About The Hometown Throwdown: The Hometown Throwdown is something that we plan on doing at minimum, two times a year, once to kick off the summer, and once to celebrate the holiday season. If we can find an excuse to do a throwdown in the spring or the fall, we’ll throw them in there too. But for now, mark your calendars for June 9th, 2007 when we’ll be throwing the first OFFICIAL hometown throwdown in the heart of Downtown Downers Grove. We’re kicking the summer off right, so be sure to join us!

HOMETOWN THROWDOWN JUNE 9!
It’s been a while since we did something like this but we’re FINALLY bringing you the Hometown Throwdown on Saturday June 9th of this year. This is when we get all the bands from the immediate area together and have a damn good time with everyone, and we’ve timed this one to kick off your summer right! This will be Plunket’s first full-band show since we returned from making our new album, which means… that’s right.. NEW SONGS!! As well as old favorites.. It will also be the debut of Plunket as a 5 piece! We’ve added Joey Saguto (formerly of Forever In A Day) to the band to play 2nd guitar, so come welcome him to the band, but really most importantly, celebrate the start of summer right!
We’ve got a couple of bands on board, and will be adding a few more before the show, not sure who though, so this is where we ask you WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE ON THIS SHOW?? There’s probably 2 open slots left and we’d like to fill them with the bands that you want to see come to Downers Grove, so if we can make it happen, we will… so send us a message or reply to the blog, and we’ll do it up. Also, any bands interested in playing, feel free to get in touch with us, we will consider anyone in the local area. Here’s the information for the show.
